We are both experienced retailers (on and offline) and experienced scrapbookers/altered artists, so thought we would combine our interests and experiences to sell top quality interesting artist materials and fair prices. Artist Trading Post was set up in February 2008 but the parent company (SJA Ltd) has been trading successfully online for four years - you can see our other website at www.doghaus.co.uk.
The items we sell are suitable for all forms of art & crafts, journaling, scrapbooking, card making, atc's, mixed media and altered arts.
We have tried to make our website as user friendly as is possible, given the restraints of the software, but would appreciate feedback about our efforts, whether negative or positive.
Delivery/Postage & Packing
All our parcels are sent out via the post office for several reasons; we believe in supporting our local post office, we like the fact that most parcels will be delivered with your normal mail, so no extra mileage is being caused and lastly we find it the most cost effective.
Delivery charges are based on the products weight, which we believe is the fairest way to charge. You can specify at the checkout which type of Postage you prefer, or if you telephone the order over, please again let us know which method you prefer. If you choose First Class, your parcel will only be insured up to a value of £36, choose special delivery if you want insurance up to £500. Orders over £50.00 qualify for free shipping
Faulty Returns
If your goods purchased from us within 12 months have developed a fault due to manufacturing, please inform us and we will advise you on whether to return to us, wait for a spare part, or exchange direct with the manufacturer.
Other Returns
If you are not happy with your product, please return it to the address on the invoice, within 28 days, in an unmarked, resellable condition, with complete packaging , for an exchange or refund. (ex p&p).
If the item is returned in a condition which is deemed to be not of a resellable as new condition we will offer you a 50% refund, as we have to sell the item on as used...
