We are both experienced retailers (on and offline) and experienced scrapbookers/altered artists, so thought we would combine our interests and experiences to sell top quality interesting artist materials and fair prices. Artist Trading Post was set up in February 2008 but the parent company (SJA Ltd) has been trading successfully online for five years - you can see our other website at www.doghaus.co.uk.
The items we sell are suitable for all forms of art & crafts, journaling, scrapbooking, card making, atc's, mixed media and altered arts.
We have tried to make our website as user friendly as is possible, given the restraints of the software, but would appreciate feedback about our efforts, whether negative or positive.
Delivery/Postage & Packing
All parcels under 1.5kg are sent out via the post office for several reasons; we believe in supporting our local post office, we like the fact that most parcels will be delivered with your normal mail, so no extra mileage is being caused and lastly we find it the most cost effective.
Whereever possible we send out parcels the same or next day, and will contact you as soon as possible if an item is missing, and when it is expected in.
Delivery charges are fixed at £2.49 for standard delivery on all parcels up to our Free Shipping Limit. You can specify at the checkout which type of Postage you prefer, or if you telephone the order over, please again let us know which method you prefer.
Orders which qualify for free shipping will be dispatched at the most cost effective method available to us.
If you book a workshop with us and other items, which qualifies for free shipping, and you then consequently cancel the workshop booking, we reserve the right to charge normal shipping charges on the other items you ordered, this amount will be deducted from the workshop booking.
Workshop Bookings
If you book a workshop online with us, payment is made at the time of booking, if the booking is later cancelled by yourself up to 10 days before the workshop, then we can offer either a 50% refund or a place on an alternative workshop (at the same price), however if you cancel within 10 days of the workshop we can only offer a place on an alternative workshop (at the same price).
If we have to cancel a workshop because of low amount of bookings, weather or illness we will offer you an alternative date or a full refund.
Faulty Returns
If your goods purchased from us within 12 months have developed a fault due to manufacturing, please inform us and we will advise you on whether to return to us, wait for a spare part, or exchange direct with the manufacturer.
Other Returns
If you are not happy with your product, please return it to the address on the invoice, within 28 days, in an unmarked, resellable condition, with complete packaging , for an exchange or refund. (ex p&p).
If the item is returned in a condition which is deemed to be not of a resellable as new condition we will offer you a 50% refund, as we have to sell the item on as used...
